Sindicate New Member Policy is as follows:
To become a new member of Sindicate, one must first submit an Application on the forums and must have a sponsor who already holds the position of Nurgling or higher within Sindicate. An Officer will then invite the applicant to the guild and the applicant then becomes a Chaos Spawn (initiate).
From the date of the invite, a Chaos Spawn must be active for a period of two weeks in order to be promoted to Nurgling (member). During this time period, we will be getting to know the Chaos Spawn and what kind of person you are. A Chaos Spawn must also successfully pass a vote with a minimum of 7 yes votes by the general Sindicate membership before becoming eligible for promotion to Nurgling (any no or hold votes will be investigated before the vote is concluded). A Chaos Spawn will only be given the ability to view all of the forums with the exception of the Chaos Lords Lounge, and the ability to post/reply in the Raid Scheduling forum.
After the Chaos Spawn has successfully passed an active 2 week period and vote, he/she will be promoted to Nurgling for a period of at least 2 months. During this time, the Nurgling is a full member of Sindicate with all the rights and privileges given to all members. At the end of the 2 months period, a Nurgling becomes eligible for promotion to Plaguebearer (Veteran).
Once a member achieves the rank of Plaguebearer they then become eligible for other promotions within Sindicate (Officer, Class Leader, etc...) if/when positions become available.
Soon, we will have a signup form here on this site, which will allow you to add character information so the guild knows who characters belong to, and what skills and materials people need. This form will also sign you up for the forums. It's in development. For now, please apply by creating an ID on the 'New Forums,' and then post an application.
**OUT OF DATE** -- To be updated if/when we establish a new alliance.
Participants in the PSK Loot System will be limited to members of the PSK Alliance. This is to encourage Alliance growth, organization, and motivate Alliance Guild Members to attend PSK raids.
There will be 3 tiers
Tier 3 - 3 rolls - Members with a 70%-100% attendance ranking will earn this tier.
Tier 2 - 2 rolls - All members of the PSK alliance fall into this tier by default.
Tier 1 - 1 roll - Anyone in attendance on a PSK raid that is NOT a member of Paradox, Sindicate, or Kailocael. (Any and all exceptions made by decision of the PSK leadership prior to each raid)
Participation is earned by attending raids and downing bosses:
1pt for being on time
1pt for per boss kill
1pt for allowing PSK a minimum 2 hours of your time.
To figure out attendance % ranking to determine whether or not members fall into the Tier 3 bracket, the following equation will be used:
Total member pts / (Divided by) Total PSK pts = Members Participation %
Example:
Week 1
On Fri we down 2 bosses and spend a total of 4 hrs raiding.
On Sat we down 2 bosses and spend a total of 4 hrs raiding.
Zedios, Zadar, and Aelintoc are in attendance.
Zedios and Zadar arrive on time and earn their 1 pt for doing so.
Aelintoc arrives 30 minutes late so missed his on time bonus. 3 hrs into the raid 1 boss is killed and Zadar must log off to head to la la land. Narshod joins the raid when Zadar leaves and we down 1 more boss and the raid is called after a total of 4 hrs. So the pts end up looking like:
Zadar- 3pts
Zedios- 4pts
Aelintoc- 3pts
Narshod- 1pt
Total possible pts for the night- 4
At the end of the raid, none of the 4 members won any loot so their percentage would look as follows:
Zadar = 75%
Zedios = 100%
Aelintoc = 75%
Narshod = 25%
This places Zadar, Zedios and Aelintoc into the Tier 3 category. On Saturdays raid all 3 will get to roll /random 1 100 3x whenever they roll on loot. Narshod remains Tier 2 as his total % is lower than requirment for Tier 3.
Sat raid:
Zedios, Narshod, and Zadar are all on time. Aelintoc arrives 30 min late... again. 2 hrs into the raid 1 boss is down and Zadar bails yet again and is replaced by Seph. 2 hrs later 1 more boss is dead and the raid is called.
Zedios - 4pts
Narshod - 4pts
Zadar - 3pts
Aelintoc - 3pts
Seph - 1pt
Total possible pts - 4
Once again no one wins any loot so the new % for all the members mentioned is as follows:
8 possible pts total for 2 days
Zadar - 6/8 = 75%
Zedios - 8/8 = 100%
Narshod - 5/8 = 63% (rounded up)
Aelintoc - 6/8 = 75%
Seph - 1/8 = 13% (rounded up)
Maximum possible raid attendance = 100%. Every 5th week the 1st week drops off.
In MC there will be 3 loot categories:
Set Items
Epic Items
Tradeskill Patterns
Each category will have a set amount of pts OR % set to it so that when a member wins an item out of the given category, their attendance % ranking can be adjusted as needed. This ensures that no member(s) will always remain at 100% attendance ranking so they are always rolling Tier 3.
The normal loot rules remain the same. 1 Set/Epic/Tradeskill Pattern per raid, however it might be possible to win 1 Set/Epic item & 1 Tradeskill Pattern in the same raid. Epic items will be rolled on by those classes they would most benefit IN MC. For example:
Cloth +healing items = Priests. If Priests don't need they will scale up to Druids then finally Paladins if Druids don't need.
Leather +healing items = Druids, same ruling as above.
ALL Tradeskill Patterns are priority loot to the Alliance. This means if any drop, no one BUT Alliance members can roll. If no one in the Alliance can use and the pattern is BoP then we will allow pugs to roll otherwise the pattern will be looted by a designated PSK Alliance member to be distributed to someone within the Alliance at a later time.
Attendance will be tracked and monitered for accuracy at all times. A mod is being worked on that will be implemented upon completion that will track all the data for us.
Also, in the near future some loot will be given priority to some classes in order to guarantee progression through MC. When we go into a period in which loot will be distributed in such a manner I will post a list of the class, name of the t00ns in the class, and items that will be given priority to those on the list. This is not to show favoritism, this is to gear up the classes that are the key to progressing in high end content.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Narshod/Hikamyo in game.
